Cute Knit Scarf




This was my first knit project. It came out pretty good for my first time, if I do say so myself. I used Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight medium 4 yarn(ART. E300 color 0310 Monet) on size 8 (5.00mm) knitting needles. I think I saw a pattern somewhere online but I cant remember the website.




CO 24


Row 1: Knit


Row 2: Knit

Row 3: *K2, P2* Repeat to end of row ending with P2


Row 4: *P2, K2* Repeat to end of row ending with K2


Row 5: *K2, P2* Repeat to end of row ending with P2


Row 6 & 7: Knit




Repeat rows 3-7 or this pattern till you get to your desired length and cast off on Knit row.




To add fringe, I wrapped the yarn around a DVD case and cut it. Then used an H size crochet hook to pull through the loops on both ends of the scarf.

This pattern was created as a personal request from one of my friends. She and I have been friends since Elementary School and now she teaches Elementary School.
